Author's Notes
Gunga Din Lite was begun during a trip to Europe in 2002. In between things, I started typing out these stream of conscious little stories which I let go whichever way they took me. Having several of these in hand upon my return, over the months and years, I added to them.
A couple quickly became the basis of my 2nd and 3rd films, Sammy's Dilemma and Mohandas & Bette: A Love Story respectfully. Sikhs on Ice, which we're turning into a feature film was also originally from this collection. And following its publication, I've been asked to turn the title story into a film - which I've recently completed and it is now in development.
