A jealous and envious boom operator makes life hell for cast and crew on a Bollywood film set.
Director's Notes
Following the screening of Mohandas & Bette: A Love Story at FILMI in 2004, Mohit Rajans and Dinesh Sachdev approached me prior to 2005's festival. They asked me to create a trailer that would be screened before every screening during the festival. It was meant to be a 30 second short. With a week and a half to pull it all together, I approached a couple of actors I knew and a couple I didn't, along with good reliable Bob Gundu who shot the film. We pulled it all off in a 10 hour long shoot.
Gundu suggested cutting several versions of the film, because the trailer that ran the year previous was seen over and over again by the same people. So I cut three different versions for the festival. Needless to say none even came close to being 30 seconds. The shortest was about 4 minutes.
It was a fun little gig in the end and played 40 odd times during the festival run and was picked up for a few more after that.
